You can definitely feel the difference in warmth of this hat! It keeps my head noticeably warmer than basic hats, so the wool content of this hat really makes a difference! The light has high, medium and low modes and also flashing. It's perfect for going out with the dogs at night and just giving myself some extra light to see while walking around with them. Also, the XL size is really helpful for being able to wear with my hair up in messy bun (which lets be honest is most of the time!) Regular size hats don't fit properly unless I wear my hair down, so I love the extra large size of this hat! Really recommend this hat if you need warmth and maybe even a light sometimes!
Not only is this beanie warm, it looks good too. It has come in so handy! The light is bright! I've used it to put up Halloween decorations in the dark, grill steaks in the dark and find my way to the outhouse at our cabin. If fits well and is good quality. Great item and great price!
This winter hat is pretty handy. The light has a good field of view and is fairly bright for a small light. The light is rechargeable with a male USB connector so no cords are needed. The light pops out so you can wash the hat too. The inner liner is a bit stiffer fabric than I usually care for but all in all it is a convenient hat for doing anything after dark in the winter.
I like the bill to help keep rain and snow out of your eyes, plus the ear flap also covers the neck.

I got the multicolored version, and it’s such a fun pop of color for winter. The cable knit design looks stylish, and the fabric feels soft yet durable. It’s made of 100% acrylic with a warm polyester lining that feels great against the skin. One of my favorite features is the removable fluffy pom pom. It snaps off easily, so I can wear it for runs or hikes without it bouncing around. The hat has a snug, stretchy fit (I’d say I have a medium-sized head), and it stays in place nicely. If you have a larger head, it might feel a bit tight, but for me it’s perfect. It also claims to be weatherproof and windproof, and so far it’s kept me warm and comfortable on chilly walks and trips to and from the yoga studio. Overall, it’s a well-made, cozy, and fun beanie that’s definitely becoming my go-to for the season
Overall this is a quality beanie that is perfect for winter or snow trips. The inner layer is fleece lined and very warm but makes a crunchy noise because of the waterproof lining. The waterproof lining is convenient for knit beanies because it protects your head from getting wet and cold. The only thing about this beanie is that the knit pattern on the outside is not soft. Overall, this is a good stylish accessory for winter that will keep your head warm from rain or snow.
This winter baseball cap is well made and practical for cold, wet conditions. I ordered it for my wife and she says this about the hat: “I love this winter baseball cap! It is warm, waterproof, and offers full ear coverage. It fits well and the stretchy fabric is very comfortable. I intend to wear it with my raincoat or hooded winter coat for rain and wet snow conditions. I like the visor for face protection, full ear coverage, pony tail opening that closes with a zipper, and that it is waterproof. The perfect hat for wet, inclement weather.” It is a very good value with great features.
Okay so this isn’t the most stylish hat on me! But I will say it does make a big difference in the cold weather. It helps block the wind and keep the cold chill of the ears. It is comfortable and super adjustable. A nice change from a beanie look.
Very nice winter hat I love the ear flaps and the fact that this has a brim. I have another hat that has flaps, but it doesn't stay up as easily as this one, and it doesn't have a brim. I'm finding that having a brim is so much nicer to help with the sun and snow. First, this hat does run a bit big, so like others have said, maybe order a size down. I've got what people typically call a "big head" which is what these hats are made for! However, I ordered the XL, which without the flaps down is slightly too big. So I should have ordered the Large size. Which even if it was a bit small, would have been fine. You can see in photos, that it has a small elastic band in the back to give it a bit of stretch if need be. I say that, however, when I put the flaps down, they fit perfectly over my head and make the hat look like it fits better. The snaps are nice and snug. With 4 snaps, I don't think the strongest Alaskan wind could blow this off of my head! Nice material to cover the ears. I am slightly concerned with the top of the head. you can feel that there is SOME insulation there, but it doesn't feel like it'll be enough in blow freezing temps like I have here. However Time will tell. If it doesn't, I'll come back here and update.
It fits, it's well made has a good weight to it and it's slightly green. Not as green as the advertised pictures but more subtle which I like better. Very satisfied with this purchased.
I wore it up the Ice House Canyon, heading towards Mount Ontario. The temperature was around ten degrees Celsius, and it was very windy; my head was the warmest part of my body. A fantastic hat.

I have large head and it fits perfectly. Ear flaps cup the ears when deployed and are smooth when folded up. The fleece lining is warm and doesn’t itch. I am very happy
The sun protection is just what I needed for the low angle we are to the sun in winter. I had someone help me measure my head carefully for sizing and it is a little big but the adjustment cord helps. I had a chance to test warmth the other day when we had an early cold snap in the 20's with stiff winds. The ear flaps helped a lot but I still had to pull my hood on for extra warmth. Overall I like this hat and would purchase it again!
This hat fits beautifully right out of the package. The material is soft, flexible, and comfortable enough to wear for long walks. I really like that the ear flaps stay in place they don't ride up or shift around, even when I'm moving a lot while walking my dogs. The ponytail opening is a great feature. The zipper sticks a little, but since I keep it open, it doesn't get in the way.
I've mainly used it on cold and windy days, and it's been exactly what I needed. The brim adjusts without a fight, which I appreciate because some hats take way too much effort to reshape. I haven't tried it in the rain yet, but the material feels like it would repel light moisture, just not heavy downpours.

Really great hat. Almost exactly what I was looking for. The flaps cover the whole ear, great quality materials. I would prefer a more cap-style as I look pretty nerdy with the square head but it meets my needs.
